Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 13th November 2018. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Lathey, Cllr Trott, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Bowditch, Cllr Beer, 7 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

1. APOLOGIES

2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS INTERESTS
Cllr Bowditch and Cllr Trott in Item 11

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREEDthat the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
None

5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Council did a great job clearing bank at top end of North Allington but took all the drain markers.

6. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £8,026.40, savings acct: £14,605.29 
b)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £303.36 HMRC £4.20, PKF Littlejohn audit fees £48
c) Precept for 2019/2020 – It was proposed by Cllr Lathey and Seconded by Cllr Bowditch to keep it at the same level as before, £11,000

7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None

8. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
No further forward, but working towards regulation 15.

9. GRIT BINS
Receved a request for one in Atrim Road – it was proposed by Cllr Lathey and Seconded by Cllr Bowditch to purchase 2 for this area. Simon Roberts will need to be contacted to get them filled once placed.

10. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
No Don present. 

11. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
All still fine.

12. COOPERS WOOD
Update given by Cathy. In talks re S106 funding for Hillbillies. With regards Well Being area, may need a compostable toilet that would be screened off. Parish Council in agreement with this.
Raised over £450 for Royal British Legion with the event held on Sunday

13. CORRESPONDENCE
Query as to whether we could have a bus stop seat – council opposed as this gets vandalised and used as a meeting point for young people at night.
New owners of Allington Hill Cottage have been making enquiries with regards to widening the footpath. They have been direction to Highways/Rights of Way and explained that this would be a lengthy process that the Parish COuncil would be opposed to.
