Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 11th September 2018. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Trott, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Bowditch, Cllr Beer, 3 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

1. PRESENTATION FROM WATTON VILLAGE SMART COMMUNITY SCHEME
This had been postponed until the October meeting

4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record.ALL AGREEDthat the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

5. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
None

6. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None

7. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £3,2297.31, savings acct: £14,605.29
b)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £303.36 HMRC £4.20, clerks expenses jul-sept £35.52, reimburse cathy for tractor fuel £29.40, reimburse clerk for domain renewal £7.19, reimburse Paul Bowditch for mower fuel £14.70
c) Postponed until Oct meeting

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None

9. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Sal Robinson updated all. Constitution finished last friday. Steering Group meeting is this week. Had a very early response form West Dorset which means we can take their comments into consideration now with the public. Hope for referendum in May.

10. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
No Don present.

11. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
All still fine.

12. COOPERS WOOD
Update given by Sal. Trying to get outline project costs for well being area.
Seat on top of hill has been replaced.
Met one of the Woodland Trust volunteer co-ordinators.
Smoke today on the hill – fire in verge. Fire brigade dealt. Have now raked some of the large stacks of grass to avoid this happening again.
