Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 13 Mar 2018. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Lathey, Cllr Trott, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Bowditch, Cllr Beer, Cllr Gay, 3 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

1. APOLOGIES
None

2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS INTERESTS
Cllr Bowditch and Cllr Trott in Item 13

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record.ALL AGREEDthat the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
None

5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Cherry Lane – people dumping rubbish again.
Weeds etc hanging over from top of North Allington to Allington Mead

6. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £5,606.70, savings acct: £14,605.29
b)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £303.36 HMRC £4.20, clerks homeworking allowance £300, fowler for website £240, TMH for gate repair £118.20, DAPTC subs £281.97, Paul Bowditch for mower fuel £14.70

7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
WD/D/17/001918- Land north of Pond End, Pymore – REFUSED

8. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Residents should have now received flyers by post with more details.

9. ROSPA PLAY AREA INSPECTIONS
All received. Details gone through with regards to any areas of concern. Cherry Tree play area issues are covered within the new quote that will be discussed at a future meeting.

10. COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE REVIEW OF BRIDPORT PARISH BOUNDARIES
This has been looked at and Clerk has contacted them to point out that part of the boundary in question falls within Allington parish rather than Symondsbury. They have taken these details on board and noted. Nothing has been set in place yet and we await further information.

11. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
No Don present.

12. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
All still fine.

13. COOPERS WOOD
Update given by Cathy: Hoping to have costings ready for next meeting with regards to installing a new meeting area on edge of Coopers Wood. Horses coming at end of month to roll the bracken. We will have students and tutors from SWRAC for a six week trial and if successful then more students from Sept onwards. We are completing a Wildlife Survey for the neighbourhood plan as requested.
