Update given on behalf of Cathy. We have applied for three funding bids to help us run activity events for the rest of the year. Due to injuries in the snow we have had to postpone several events including training for the volunteers. We will be able to run the other activity events over Easter and beyond.
We now have our work clothes sponsored by postcode lottery and 5 volunteers have had DBS checks. The tractor as you know has been repaired at great expense. We are waiting for funds from A.O.N.B which hopefully if we get the full amount. We will be able to pay for the garage and tractor insurance. This may not be paid until mid April. We would like to ask the council to pay for the garage due 1st April and we will pay you back when we have the funds available. (council agreed)
A.G.M will be at The Oddfellows Arms Thursday March 22nd 7.30pm.

12. CORRESPONDENCE
Various were available to read this included:
Devolution of assets and services survey – this was to see what assets and services the parish council could take over from DCC/WDDC. Clerk had aske for a list of services and assets this would affect but this had not materialised therefore it was decided that the survey would be sent back with ‘unknown until we know which assets and services this would affect’.
S106 monies being held by WDDC which belong to the parish council – we have been asked to see what projects this money could be used for but there are lots of restrictions. It could go towards improvement of play area (although this may not be allowed), as well as to our volunteer group for the hill.
Cllr Lathey has a meeting with the owners of the Pymore Mills industrial units to discuss their future plans – weds 21st march at 11am.
