Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 12th April 2016. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Bowditch, Cllr Trott, Cllr Gay (Acting as Chair), Don McAllister, 2 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED that the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
None

5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None

6. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £328.88, savings acct: £20,581.98.
b) Clerk salary to go up to next scale point 25, which is £277 per month (before deductions). Proposed by Cllr Gay, Seconded by Cllr Bowditch. All agreed
c)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £269.80 HMRC £7.20, TMH Fencing for repairs to play area fence £102.70, Evans for hire of chipper £89.28, Magna rent £660.11 (will receive reimbursement for this from Hillbillies)

7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None

8. DONKEY LANE
Clerk has been in touch with DCC and has sent back all the relevant info to try and get the footpath registered on the definitive map. All the necessary paperwork form DCC has been sent to the relevant members of the public also. The Clerk has also been in touch with Land Registry to lodge the complaint as requested. Land Registry have since written to say that Mr Raymond is now amending what he is trying to claim to just the ‘grey land’ howver if the parish council havent seen the orginal documents sent to Bridport Town Council then they are able to get these sent by Land Registry. Clerk has requested them as ‘officially; we havent seen these documents although do know which area the ‘grey land’ is. Once the documents are received this will be presented to the parish council at a meeting so a decision can be reached on how to respond to Land Registry’s letter. Clerk has also been in touch with the Solicitor for My Raymond as well as others connected with those living nearby.

9. COOPERS WOOD
Countryside Management Team have completed the first stage of the hedging and thinning of Coopers Wood. We have had a few problems with people taking barrow loads of wood, can the council help? Council said very little they can do but notices can be put on the noticeboard.
Have had an offer of £1000 personal donations towards the cost of a new mower.
Would like to thank the council for acting so quickly getting the fire damaged fence repaired and also for funding the use of the chipper.. Also to thank them for supporting the ‘Aidan’s Allingotn hill Amble’ which will be held on sat 4th June.
Annual picnic will take place on Sun 12th June.

10. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Meeting on 20th April.

11. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
Don sid all was fine but that the back hedge along Longhayes Avenue facing the play area, does need cutting back.

11. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
Cllr Bowditch said all was fine.
