5. MAGNA REP PRESENT TO DISCUSS GENERAL CHERRY TREE ISSUES
David Aldwinkle, Managing Director gave a brief overview of what areas Magna have in terms of properties in the area. They are not looking to develop any new homes at the moment. Apologies if Magna havent been as good at communication as they should be. Kerrie Brook is doing a walk round Cherry Tree with Phil Lathey very soon. David gave out a list of contacts within Magna for the various different problems/departments that may need to be contacted in future. David suggested it was the responsibility of the parish council to contact the owners of the hedge which was growing over the Magna footpath to ask them to cut back. He said that Magna maintains communal areas whereas footpaths is not considered as such. Member of public spoke further on this issue and agreed strongly with the parish council that as the footpath belongs to magna then it should be magna making sure that it is kept clear and therefore should be contacting homeowers and/or tenants whose hedges overgrow it. Cllr Lathey entered at this point and reiterated the same. This was discussed further.
