Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish held at Cherry Tree Communal Room, Allington on 12 May 2015. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.
PRESENT: Cllr. P. Lathey, Cllr. Bowditch, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Beer, Cllr Gay, 3 members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes.

2. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED. The minutes were duly signed and dated.
3. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES

4. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
We have had a very busy year with lots of issues happening around the parish. As a small council we have been and still are involved with things happening within the parish and outside of the parish. The local neighbourhood plan is being worked on by all bridport area parishes, although in the early stages and with some setbacks this will help decide the fitire of where and how new builds take place as well as looking at brown field sites for employment and infrastructur. We have helped the hillbillies whereever possible and have taken on the lease for coopers wood as well as continuing with the play area within the field. We have been involved with a number of planning applications including one for the field alongside the hospital which will see hopefully more affordable housing in Allington. We will continue to work for the benefit of the local residents to enhance the local area as much as we can and to forward plan for a long term future for all of the Allington residents.
