Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 12th February 2019. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Lathey, Cllr Trott, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Bowditch, Cllr Gay, Cllr Beer, 4 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

1. APOLOGIES
None

2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS INTERESTS

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record.ALL AGREEDthat the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
Clerk has been in correspondence with a resident at Dibdin View for the past year regarding a dog poo bin – the area of concern was not in Allington parish but Clerk has been in contact with Bridport Town Council, dog warden and others regarding this. The latest update is that the Town Council will be putting in a new bin.

5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Pavement at top of Allington Mead covered in mud, branches etc possibly from where they cut back the hedge.
Pot holes at top of Parsonage Road (near north allington end)

6. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £7,518.84, savings acct: £7,605.86
b)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £303.36 HMRC £4.20, reimburse clerk for domain renewal £92.39, C N Richards grass cutting £288, Sal Robinson for new gate latch £87.39

7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None

8. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Hoping to get it submitted in March. Also changed JCC quorum down to 4.

9. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
No Don present. Play Area appears fine.

10. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
All fine. Grass growing slowly. Being well used.

11. COOPERS WOOD
Still battling with the Well Being area project – have been successful with the S106 monies but unsuccessful with other funding. Well Being area may require planning permission – Sal looking into this further with regards similar projects and consultant. Woodland Trust on side
Double checked situation with parish council with regards to volunteers and insurance.
Gate latch being replaced again with a more heavy duty one.
