1. ALLINGTON HILLBILLIES – TALK ON WELLBEING AREA
Cathy Harvey gave talk on proposed Wellbeing are, giving a general overview. It was proposed to site it nearer to entrance to field to enable easier access. Also plastic mesh under the grass to enable access by wheelchairs and pushchairs. This would lead to the Wellbeing area which wwould be an area as open as possible but able to be closed so dogs cannot access it. Hopefully some form of eco loo with disabled access would be there and possibly some work benches and seating although dont want to overcrowd the area too much. Planting around the outside – things that could be coppiced. Eco loo to be disguised with planting. Issues around installation of an Eco loo are being looked into from all aspects. Also in talks with the Woodland Trust about all of this. Hoping to obtain money from the S106 budget as well as other sources. Project would cost approximately £8k-£10k. Will keep Parish Council updated.
