Given below are the minutes of the meeting of the above parish council held in the Communal Room, Cherry Tree, Bridport, on 11th July 2017. The meeting commenced at 7.30pm.

PRESENT: Cllr Lathey, Cllr Gay, , Cllr TrottCllr Beer, Cllr Wrighton, Cllr Bowditch, 4 x members of the public. Mrs A Stephenson recorded the minutes

3. OUSTANDING DECLARATIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICER FORMS
Cllr Gay signed.

4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED that the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

5. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
With regards to himalayan balsm growing at 1 Longhayes Avenue – clerk to request highways to write to occupants

6. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Neighbourhood Plan want to designate Coopers Wood as a local green space – Parish Council agreed..

7. FINANCE REPORT
a) Current acct: £8,220.60, savings acct: £14,603.
b)The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk’s wages (for past month) £287.80 HMRC £3.40, clerks working from home allowance £300, Clerks wages for Aug £287.60, HMRC for aug £3.40, TMH Fencing for noticeboard and repair £267.17, Paul Bowditch reimbursement for mower fuel £13.65

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None

9. NOTICEBOARD
Key has been dropped to Mr & Mrs Huxley so they can put notices up.

10. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Thingd are progressing. A questionnaire is being delivered to Allington residents to fill in and return to box at hospital.

11. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
Don not present.

12. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
All still fine. Clerk to ask Clive for date of when replacing fence again. Must be done within fortnight or will get another contractor.

13. COOPERS WOOD
Update given by Cathy on usage and festival. There is a rough sleeper in residence – tucked out of the way, very clean and tidy, no issues. Parish Council view is that they aere mindful he is presenting no problems or issues nor making himself a nuisance so will not be contacting Woodland Trust to move him on at thus moment.

14. CORRESPONDENCE
Various were available to read including thank you letters from the organisations that had been given donations.
