The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED that the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
Planning application for Bridport Co-Housing Group was not for extra houses (as they dicussed with us when they attended our meeting) but was design/spec change of elevations to the houses they already have permission for, therefore we had to withdraw our comments and instead relate the comments accordingly. We said that we did not want them sited futher up the site.

5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Pathway between Parsonage Road and Broadmead Avenueis not being cleaned, also drains all blocked in this area. Highways informed but apparently Highways and Town Council in dispute as to who should clear it. This is used by a lot of people and floods – it can flood 18 inches within an houe in bad rain which can make it practically impossible for bungalow owners to get out, Needs sorting urgently. Clerk to contact Darryl Chambers and Highways.

6. DONKEY LANE
No further news to report on this at this moment in time.

Arrived, TMH Fencing informed but unable to complete works until new year due to workload.

10. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Starting to write plan now and looking at policies.

11. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA
No Don but all appears to be fine. TMH Fencing have looked at gate closure and missing slat and will sort in due course.

12. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA REPORT
No Cllr Bowditch present but badgers are digging up holes. Suggest ask Clive when he does gate and fence to lower it slightly to try and stop badgers coming in. Hace placed a pallet against gate and badgers are still coming in currently. Due to winter will have to let nature take its course and deal with it in the spring.

13. COOPERS WOOD
Cathy reported that there is a suggestion of a story telling area in Coopers Wood – had lots of support for this. Preferred area is in flat secluded corner away from pitch. Schools and other groups would like to use it. Parish Council in support of this. Would have to advertise it as having no toilet facilities as well as taking into account travel as no parking.
Brought to our attention that Woodland Trust are requesting donations for areas of land to dedicate to loved ones – Coopers Wood is named. Clerk already looking into this.
Hedge will be layed in mid November, all expenses already covered as have spre funds.
